Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position at the University of Swaziland:
- SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT (AEM)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A PhD. in Agricultural Economics or related discipline.
DUTIES:
- To teach students courses in Project Planning and Management, Applied Economic Analysis, Agricultural and Rural Development, Farm Management and Agricultural marketing.
- To teach other Agricultural Economics courses
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate theses.
- Participate in Departmental, Faculty and/or University-wide research and outreach activities/community service.
LOCAL CANDIDATES
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing Allowance and a Medical Aid.
EXPATRIATE CANDIDATES
A two-year contract which will attract Gratuity, recruitment Allowance a Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
