AERC-Cornell University Conference: Bottom-Up Interventions and Economic Growth in Sub-Saharan Africa

Description Proceeding the AERC biannual workshop plenary session on 31 May – 1 June, 2007 was a conference, jointly organized by AERC and Cornell University. The theme of discussion will be “Bottom-Up Interventions and Economic Growth in Sub-Saharan Africa”. In addition to the presence of Dr. Hezron Nyangito, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, other key personalities that participated were John Page, Chief Economist, World Bank; and Stephen Haykin, USAID Mission Director in Kenya. Cornell University was represented by Profs. David Sahn, Chris Barrett and Ravi Kanbur.
