AERC Biannual Workshop - Managing
post-conflict recovery in Africa |

The first week of June, as is customary,
brought with it a flurry of activity for AERC –
it was the time of the biannual research workshop,
which brings together over 200 participants from sub-Saharan
Africa, Europe, USA, Asia, and beyond. In addition
to this event, two other workshops were held.
The theme for this year’s plenary
session, the 26th in the series, was the topical issue,
“Managing post-conflict recovery in
Africa”. The session was aptly chaired
by the Hon. (Dr) Toga Gayewea McIntosh, Minister,
Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs, Liberia.
