PRIVATE SECTOR ENGAGEMENT
Engage the private sector in mutually beneficial research and
training activities to enhance innovation and to
deepen and broaden AERC capacity building
During the fiscal year 2019/2020, the following activities will be undertaken:
- Joint AERC-private sector research.
OUTCOMES:
✓ Six new research projects presented at
the June 2019 biannual workshops were
relevant to the private sector.
✓ The Non-State Actors Workshop on value
addition on agribusiness enterprises was
held in October in Lusaka, Zambia, with 20
participants in attendance.
